Description

Set in 1945 Germany immediately following the liberation of the concentration camps. Eighteen-year-old Zofia Lederman is one of the few survivors of Gross-Rosen. Her body and mind are shattered, but she is driven by a single promise: to find her younger brother, Abek. Three years prior, at Auschwitz, they were the only ones sent “right” to work; everyone else—their parents, grandmother, and aunt—”went left” to the gas chambers.
